Artist Jessica Geach founded Ruby Cubes in 2015. She produces beautiful 3D objects that are both tactile and purposeful. Her studio allows her to fully explore her lifelong passion for textiles and it is based on the idea of experimenting and exploration.
Jessica works with unbleached cotton rope due to its tactile, soft and strong nature. Unbleached means it has not been through bleach vats, which are terrible for both the environment and the people who work in the cotton industry. She always uses natural materials and she avoids synthetic options wherever possible.
Most of Jessica’s inspiration comes from the diversity of her surrounding landscape in Dartmoor. She is constantly pushing her own boundaries and is always playing with new materials and processes.
