friends of s + w

I know how important it is to support small businesses so here are some friends whose talents and craftsmanship inspire me.

House of Dandelions

Rachel specialises in flowers for weddings and teaching workshops, as well as dried floral design.

Her floristry style is relaxed, wild and joyful, and inspired by our beautiful countryside. The House of Dandelions ethos is all about finding magic in the details – even in the most insignificant of flowers (or indeed weeds)!

Sustainability is also at the heart of how Rachel designs. She works foam free, promotes eco-friendly practices and use a lot of British-grown flowers and foliage.

Bonny and Frey

Simone launched Bonny & Frey in the winter of 2020 with the decision to turn a lifelong passion into a business. She creates modern children’s clothes, accessories and gifts.

When her daughter was born in 2019 she was constantly looking for comfortable unique clothes for her delicate skin which allowed her to play and explore freely.

She adores making clothes for little ones and seeing them running around in her creations, it's a warm happiness. She works with bright, bold and kind fabrics.

Eliza and ted

Eliza & ted is run by Becky from her home in Kent, whilst also running around after toddler twins!

She set up Eliza & ted after searching for unique gifts for friends and struggled to find fabulous quality products that were nicely presented, included a free gift note and were posted quickly!

She sources her gifts from some of the UK’s best small businesses and has carefully selected some lovely local products – from soaps made in Wiltshire, to chocolates made in Norfolk, to notebooks made in Yorkshire.
